Need a puppy or dog? Not sure which breed or temperament is right for you and your family?
We support rescue organizations where you can find many pure breed dogs available for adoption.
We can assist you in finding the correct breed and/or temperament that will be most compatible for your lifestyle. Whether they are from a breeder or shelter we will evaluate any dog.
Group Classes:
MTFD has teamed up with Boyce Feed & Grain Store to offer yet another affordable opportunity to receive professional training for your dog. Group classes are for Dogs 101 & Behavior Modification! Classes will be only 4 - 8 students so individual attention will be met to maintain the higher standards of training set by MTFD. From puppies to intermediate level dogs can all learn from this course!!!
Obedience:
This is the foundation for all training. Although we offer Basic, Intermediate and Advanced Obedience the basic level is a requirement for all dogs at MTFD. Our level of Basic Obedience includes; information for nutrition, crate training and house breaking. As well as six basic commands; sit, down, stay, come, heel and a release command from the stay position.
Behavior Modification:
Another specialty of MTFD includes behavior problem prevention and solutions. 85% of our students come to us with unwanted difficulties and/or behaviors. Many years experience cannot be replaced with fancy new gadgets or inventions. Proper training techniques implemented are proven to have withstand the test of time.
Trained Dogs for Sale:
Well socialized, housebroken, partially or fully trained. We offer buyer introduction training, instructions and delivery. With proper guidance provided by MTFD your bonding relationship will last forever. Check with us to see if we have one available now. All dogs are strictly evaluated and health checked.
Decoy Services and Instruction:
Many people have excellent dogs that need to be worked but it is extremely hard to find someone to take a bite from them. It's even harder to find a certified decoy that is safe.
If your dog needs further training or just more repetition and scenarios then MTFD is the place to go!
Rob is a Certified Level V Instructor Decoy for Protection Dogs International (P.D.I.) and has been safely catching dogs for several years without incident. In addition to being a Helper for Schutzhund and personal protection clubs, he has caught police K9s for a host of undisclosed departments as well as providing several police K9 demonstrations.
K9 Handler Discipline:
Training never stops! This type of program is not offered by many. It will test YOUR skills as a handler.
MTFD has direct experience from the trial field to working on the streets. With training received through law enforcement to military, MTFD has a hard program to beat. This handler program is not for the faint-hearted. One must be physically fit and mentally strong. You MUST want to bring your skills to a higher level. From public relations to tactical maneuvers you will learn to move quickly, respond correctly and above all maintain safety!

Rob’s proficient knowledge and professionalism has been in demand for many municipal hearings regarding dog ordinances across the U.S. and his service does not end here.

MTFD has the expert advice and guidance that may prove beneficial or can explain as to why some owner/handler responsibilities have been overlooked. Upon request Rob is available as an expert witness in regards with dogs breeds, instincts and/or behaviors.
