In addition to earning his Canine Good Citizen Certification with the A.K.C., he passed the Temperament Test with ATTS with the highest score out of 40 dogs that day only to move on to pass CAL I, II and III through the American Working Dog Club, Montauk is a perfect example of just how effective MTFD's training program is.
* WDX is his Working Dog Excellence Title with the I.W.P.A.
* He has earned his first leg toward his Obedience Title with a first place through U.K.C.
* PPD is his Personal Protection Dog Title with K9 Pro Sports
* Montauk of Micmac is 2004 World Champion of K9 Pro Sports
At the 2005 World Championship of K9 Pro Sports MTFD swept the Personal Protection Division when Olesko earned the highest obedience score and Montauk earned the highest protection score!

Just how do you test you and your dog's ability to protect? There are sports designed to assess what level you are at in your training program. There are no guarantees in life; however you can greatly increase your percentage of safety with a properly trained dog.
A gun is incredibly difficult to aim and hit a moving live target in a threatening situation. In addition once the trigger is pulled, you cannot stop the bullet. A dog is less lethal force, more controllable and a better detector and deterrent in a host of situations!
